Don’t Worry. He Doesn’t Bite. There’s always someone who tells you to relax. Nothing too serious.
Completely harmless.
No big deal. And if anyone still has doubts, it even says so in the background: GOOD KITTY! Sounds convincing enough. Big teeth, big attitude, but apparently nothing to worry about. If you repeat it often enough, people might even start believing it. At the very least, one can pretend that everything is perfectly harmless. And if that still doesn’t work, sometimes it helps to confidently claim that everything is under control. A bit of charm, a bit of exaggeration, maybe a friendly remark on top.

That works surprisingly often.

At least until someone takes a closer look.

Don’t Worry. He Doesn’t Bite. Es gibt immer jemanden, der sagt, man solle sich entspannen. Alles halb so wild.
Ganz harmlos.
Keine große Sache. Und falls doch jemand Zweifel hat, steht es ja sogar im Hintergrund: GOOD KITTY! Das klingt schließlich überzeugend genug. Große Zähne, große Klappe, aber angeblich alles völlig ungefährlich. Man muss es nur oft genug sagen, dann glauben es die Leute irgendwann vielleicht sogar. Man kann ja wenigstens so tun, als wäre alles ganz harmlos. Und wenn das immer noch nicht reicht, hilft es manchmal, einfach selbstbewusst zu behaupten, dass alles unter Kontrolle ist. Ein bisschen Charme, ein bisschen Übertreibung, vielleicht noch ein freundlicher Kommentar hinterher.

Das funktioniert erstaunlich oft.

Zumindest so lange, bis jemand genauer hinschaut.
